“Ensuring that our young people are not only able to participate in higher education, but also can afford it is critical to the success of our society. As a parent and a grandparent it is utmost importance to me to see today’s children and young adults prepare for real-life experiences in our ever-changing world. To be able to contribute to this education in some way, through my role as a Board member of Earn to Learn Florida is something is very important me. I’m extremely proud to serve on the Board of Directors of this vital organization.”

Kimberly Dye has been leading and building development teams and entrepreneurial nonprofit initiatives for more than 25 years. Her career has taken her through some of the most imperative work in her career — securing funding for the battle to save America’s Everglades as well as two stints with Public Media organizations in Fort Myers, FL and Erie, PA, where collectively she led teams to raise over $40M to ensure NPR and PBS thrived in those local communities. She has built nonprofit organizations from the ground up, taught at the university level, served within higher education as Chief of Staff to a university President and led two significant capital and endowment campaigns through her work with a nonprofit consulting firm based in New York — securing $15M with her clients during her projects in both Memphis, TN and Philadelphia, PA in less than two years’ time. Kim is ABD on her Ed.D. in Educational Leadership and Change, holds an M.S. in Counseling Psychology with a focus on human relations and holds a B.A. in Communications. In the summer of 2019 Kim will assume the role of Chief Advancement Officer for Naples’ Gulfshore Playhouse, working to complete their significant campaign to build a transformational new theater downtown, and overseeing the growth of their funding and visibility.
